Requirements
You must be minimum 10 years old to participate in the program and be in good physical health in accordance with the PADI Medical Statement. Discover Scuba Diving is a half day experience program conducted under the supervision of a professional and does not result in a diving certification.
Course structure
Meet your dive instructor at Blacktip Scuba to sign up for the Discover Scuba Diving program and participate in a short theory and swimming pool lesson. The lesson is approximately 1 hour and can be conducted either the day before the boat trip or the same day. After the lesson you can go on the dive boat with the instructor for 2 dives around the Phi Phi National Marine Park. The dives are approximately 45 minutes long each and you can dive to a maximum of 12 meters depth. Boat trips run daily in the morning (7 am to 12 pm) and the afternoon (12.30 pm to 4.30 pm)
