Course Requirements
You need to be a minimum of 10 years old and have adequate swimming skills. The course takes 3 days and this licence allows you to dive worldwide to 18 metres depth. Please read the medical questionnaire to ensure good physical health.
Course structure
Meet your dive instructor at Blacktip Scuba to enrol in the course and collect your PADI learning materials including manual/ e-manual and DVD.
- Day 1: Theory review and swimming pool skills (3-5 hours)
- Day 2: 2 dives with lunch to maximum 12 metres depth (4-5 hours)
- Day 3: 2 dives with lunch to maximum 18 metres depth (4-5 hours)
Additional time for theory and final exam on day 2 or day 3 approximately 2 hour may apply.
