Course Requirements
To enroll in the PADI Rescue Diver Course you must be Advanced Open Water trained already and hold a valid First Aid certificate such as the EFR. You must be a minimum of 12 years old. Please check the PADI Medical Statement to make sure you are fit to dive. The course takes 3 to 4 days to complete.
Course Structure
Meet your dive instructor at Blacktip Scuba to enrol in the course and collect your PADI learning materials including manual/ e-manual and DVD.
Day 1: Theory review and shallow water skills practice
Day 2: Shallow and deep water skills practice, EFR training if necessary
Day 3: Skill practice and Rescue Scenario assessment
Day 4: Theory review and final examination
