Who We Are
Blacktip Scuba is a PADI 5-Star Dive Resort located on Phi Phi Island, Thailand. Away from the crowds on beautiful Long Beach, we are situated within Phi Phi The Beach Resort, we take our name from the harmless blacktip reef sharks that you can see daily on our house reef. Enjoy our daily half-day dive trips, learn or try diving from an amazing location, snorkel off the beach with reef sharks and chill out with a coffee or a cocktail at the Let’s Sea Beach Bar.
Getting Here
There are daily ferry services linking Phi Phi Island to Phuket, Krabi, Koh Lanta, Ao Nang and Railay Beach.
From Tonsai Pier (Phi Phi’s main port) it is a short 10-minute longtail taxi boat ride or a 30-minute walk to Long Beach.
QUALITY SERVICE
We are a PADI 5 star resort equipped with facilities and multilingual staff to make your diving experience a memorable one.
POOL TRAINING
We boast on being one of the few dive centers in Phi Phi with two swimming pools, enabling you to train when it is more convenient.
SPEED BOAT & MORE
We use our speed boat for our daily beach launches, but also have a bigger boat and traditional Thai long tail at our clients disposition.
PARADISE LOCATION
We depart from Long beach, on one of the Jewels of Koh Phi Phi Don situated away from the crowds.
SMALL GROUPS
If you are either learning, or simply fun diving with us, our 4:1 ratio will ensure your safety and the quality of the dive. Less bubbles, more fish!
SAFETY FIRST
We are still an accident free dive center, but for your tranquility, all our boats and crew are equipped and trained in first aid and emergency O2 use.
